version 2 of bitKlavier for OSX is now available. It includes new Direct preparations (transposition and gain), as well as layers for all the preparation types, making it possible to layer multiple kinds of preparations simultaneously. A library of historical temperaments is also included. We’ve created a set of very short tutorials for this version, the bittyTutorials.
we are also hard at work developing version 3, which will be a rewrite from the ground up in C++ and should run more quickly, and enable us to create plugins and support more formats; stay tuned.
